With The State, the Greenville News and the Post and Courier now charging to read their news on-line, there are less views of the stories posted at those sites. We have had more real estate firms sending us their news so far this year, and we appreciate it.
While we usually don’t post news on job promotions or new company announcements, we certainly welcome press releases and just general information on sales, major leases, market surveys or awards received.

Five Years of SCREnews Posts

Cap rate trends seem to be popular, so we will try to focus a little more on that going forward. Thank you for following SCREnews. I welcome suggestions and ideas on how to make the site even better.

We update our website constantly and you will receive a summary of the new posts around 11:10 AM each weekday. Our current e-mail subscriber list includes developers, mortgage bankers, municipal officials, attorneys, contractors, economic developers, appraisal reviewers and brokers.
Of course you can unsubscribe at any time, although we have only had five people unsubscribe since the site was started in March 2008. I assume that means that subscribers are finding it useful.
Note: I don’t use any ad tracking or the like, nor do I sell e-mail addresses to anyone!

What does this mean for you?
Well, for a time there may be some broken links. I’ll try to fix them all up, but it would be a huge help if people could report any broken links that they find. RSS subscriptions to our site may or may not need to be updated. If you’re subscribed to the blog via feedburner, then the switch should be automatic, but if you’re subscribed to atom.xml or rss.xml you may have to re-subscribe in the ‘Where to Follow Along’ section of the sidebar.
Hopefully, you will find the new layout just as easy to navigate. As always, I welcome your suggestions.
