The SCREnews.com website was created in the first quarter of 2008 as kind of an experiment. The goal was to provide a one-stop site to monitor real estate news in South Carolina. Well, that was over 2,000 posts, and 70,000 visitors ago…..and we are still going strong. The website is kind of a blog, but mainly a news oriented website. It is time-consuming to maintain the site. In fact, I spend 3 to 5 hours a week working on the website. Because of this time commitment, I decided to open the website up to advertisers, and create a Professional Directory.
You will notice that I occasionally promote my appraisal firms on the site, but I try not to promote them too much. If you don’t know, I am the Managing Director of the Columbia and Greenville offices of Integra Realty Resources. Integra is the largest commercial appraisal firm in the country, with 63 offices. I also own the Columbia and Greenville franchises of IRR Residential, a residential appraisal firm with offices in 40 markets nationwide. Please let me know if I can assist with your valuation needs.
