Construction Beginning on USC Student Housing

Construction is set to begin on the newest campus student housing project, a unique 878-bed facility that will allow upperclassmen to live in the heart of the university’s west campus.

Scheduled to open in two phases beginning in fall 2015, the private complex will be conveniently located behind the Carolina Coliseum and near the Greek Village and the new Darla Moore School of Business. It will include both retail space and a dining facility. The second phase is expected to open in the fall of 2016.

As a result of the construction, the “C” surface parking lot—located directly behind the Carolina Coliseum—will be permanently closed as of Saturday, April 5 and all cars must be removed to make way for the project. That parking lot is bordered by Devine, Park, Blossom and Lincoln streets.
