Verizon Call Center Sold for $200/sf

A McLean, Va.-based real estate investment trust has bought the Verizon Wireless call center in northeast Richland County for $29.2 million.

The 146,483-square-foot building was purchased by Gladstone Commercial Corp. According to the Richland County Assessor’s records, the facility’s previous owner was Spears Creek Realty LLC. The building was built in 2010 and sits on 29.16 acres.

“We are excited to add to our portfolio this Class ‘A’ office building that serves as a primary operations center for this well-positioned credit tenant,” said Buzz Cooper, Gladstone managing director.
