Old Factory To Become Apartments

The old Rock Hill Body Company, once home to workers who made frames for school buses and soda delivery trucks, will find new life as an apartment complex aimed at elderly people.

A developer plans to renovate the West Main Street building into 21 apartments, as well as put up 18 patio homes on the back of the property. Rock Hill leaders signed off on the $7 million project Monday night.
