Work-Live Units Begin to Catch On in Beaufort County

Roseann and William Zimmer work and live in their multi-use building at Habersham. The Zimmers said living where they work has helped their dentistry practice by being available almost immediately for emergencies. They both agreed that living and working in a small community is exactly what they were looking for when they moved to Beaufort County from Pennsylvania.

It takes the pair about 30 seconds to get from the door of their dental practice to the door of their home — stacked one atop the other in a large, three-story end unit in the Habersham community in Beaufort.
