North Myrtle Beach Neighbor Share Concerns over Development

City Council members Monday echoed concerns from neighborhood residents related to traffic, drainage and building heights in the proposed plans to redevelop the former Robbers Roost Golf Club into a new urban village.

Plans for the property include a maximum of 394 residential units, shops, a movie theater, restaurants, parks, office space and land donated for the North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad, all divided into three geographical sections: a town center, village shops and a neighborhood.
