Commercial Firm Focuses On Failing Investments

Weak consumer spending and a recessionary business climate have created an atmosphere of instability within the commercial real estate market, leading Sperry Van Ness International, a national commercial brokerage firm, to assemble a team of brokers who will focus on troubled assets.

That team, whose roughly 60 members were announced last month, includes senior investment adviser Scott Rogers, whose assigned territory is the Lowcountry.

The asset recovery squad was established to work with property owners to help manage their potentially troubled investments.
