Local Developer Skip Snedigar, of Brushy Creek Partners, LLC, said he wants to build Brushy Creek Assisted Living on close to 10 acres in Greer to house 72 residents.

Snedigar said five of those acres would be used for the assisted living facility at 3337 Brushy Creek Road

“It will be designed to be expanded to 96 (residents,) Snedigar said. “In addition to that, we have two two-acre tracts at the entrance to the project, that we intend to sell (as) parcels.”

He said the 14 parcels would be sold for professional office space or medical-related retail.

Those will be on the market immediately, he said.

The developer said the project would cost about $4 million.

The next step, Snedigar said, is to wait for another ARC hearing that would allow him to move forward with some rough grading. He said he paid the fee to have the project placed on the docket for the Aug. 7 ARC meeting.
