Integra Realty Resources to Invest in Downtown Greenville

June 4, 2008

The Greenville office of Integra Realty Resources, the nationwide commercial and residential real estate appraisal firm, will relocate to downtown’s Main Street.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to invest in downtown Greenville,” said Michael Dodds, MAI, CCIM, MRICS, who serves as managing partner of both the Greenville and Columbia offices. “Two things were very important to me – to show our commitment to the market by owning our office space, and to be close to our clientele. This move accomplishes both.”

Integra Realty Resources and its residential appraisal division, IRR-Residential, will move into an office condominium in Ivey Square, formerly the Ivey’s Department Store at 200 North Main Street, later this month.

“With Downtown Alive taking place just outside, and the proximity to restaurants and other businesses, Integra saw a really unique opportunity to buy and work downtown,” said Keith Jones, a broker with NAI Earle Furman who handled the sale.

Integra’s new office will require some work prior to moving in, including the installation of three exterior windows, new carpet, upgraded voice/data cabling and fresh paint. “In addition to the considerable amount of work to the suite, we will have a great collection of photographs of Greenville buildings on display, after discovering a talented local photographer. I think our clients will be impressed with the photography, since many either developed or made loans on the buildings,” said Dodds.

This move follows an announcement that Integra Realty Resources plans to merge with Altus Group, which will make the company one of the largest independent property valuation firms in the world.
